These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Arc Synergy: Adult Clinical Screeners mobile application (the "App"), operated by Arc Synergy ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Intended Use

The App provides informal screening tools for use by licensed speech-language pathologists and qualified clinicians. It is intended to support, not replace, professional clinical judgment. You agree to use the App only for lawful, professional purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.

Not a diagnostic tool. The App is an informal screening aid. It does not provide a diagnosis, does not replace standardized or instrumental assessment, and is not a medical device. All clinical interpretation and decision-making remain your professional responsibility.

2. No Clinician–Patient Relationship

The App is a tool for clinicians and does not create any relationship between Arc Synergy and any patient. We are not involved in, and are not responsible for, any clinical decision, assessment, diagnosis, or treatment made using the App.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for how you use the App and for any clinical conclusions you draw from it.
You are responsible for complying with patient-privacy laws (such as HIPAA) and your organization's policies. Because all data stays on your device, safeguarding that device and its contents is your responsibility.
You should avoid entering direct patient identifiers into the App, consistent with its intended use.

4. Purchases

The App is free to download and includes a one-time purchase that unlocks full functionality. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Pricing is shown in the App and on our website. Refunds, where applicable, are handled according to the policies of the app store through which you purchased. The purchase is a one-time, non-consumable unlock; it is not a subscription.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its content, design, and screening materials, is owned by Arc Synergy and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its content is complete or suitable for any particular clinical use.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arc Synergy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any clinical decisions, outcomes, or losses arising from your use of the App. Your use of the App is at your own professional discretion and risk.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
